GrowBook App Data

GrowBook is designed to work offline. Plant records, care schedules, journal entries, and photos are stored on your device unless you choose to enable account-based cloud features such as backup, synchronization, or family sharing.

Accounts and Cloud Features

If you use cloud features, we may process your email address, account identifier, plant records, care history, and uploaded photos through our cloud service provider. This information is used only to provide the features you request. You may request account and cloud-data deletion from the app or by contacting us.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple. GrowBook does not receive or store your full payment-card details. We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and manage access to premium features.

Website Cookies and Advertising

The website stores your language and consent preferences locally. Google Analytics and optional advertising services are loaded only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Google Analytics may process website usage and device information, while Google AdSense, when enabled, may process information needed to provide and measure advertising. Website analytics and advertising do not apply to the GrowBook mobile app.

Third-Party Services

Depending on the features you use, service providers may include Supabase for account and cloud storage, RevenueCat for subscription management, Google Play or Apple for payments, Google Analytics for consented website measurement, and Google AdSense for consented website advertising. Affiliate links may take you to third-party retailers.

Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Cloud data is retained while your account is active and for the limited period necessary to complete deletion, backups, security, and legal obligations.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. You can reject optional website cookies in the consent banner and clear your choice through your browser storage settings.
