Nutrient Deficiency

Plants need various macro and micronutrients. Deficiency symptoms vary by nutrient but generally show as discoloration, poor growth, or abnormal leaf development.

Why: Nutrients in potting soil are consumed or leached out over time, especially with frequent watering.
